it all began here...My hummingbird became our Logo for our Facebook Page, Affordable Creations. It represents and is dedicated to my mother, Mary Alice. She was a crafty gal. It seems everyone on her side was pretty crafty, actually. The more I learn, the more I am in awe of her as a women and mother. She is my inspiration to always be better. A better mother myself. A better person. But mostly- through her mistakes (and the very few I make) I am learning how to find and live my passion. I am a Registered nurse. I loved my job but I love being a stay at home mommy even more. As most of us tend to do- I needed more. So I started crafting, and pinning, and more crafting, and pinning...before I knew it- my friends were requesting orders from me. It is fun, and I can make a little money to help keep my kiddos in their very pricey activities!
